MAGIC
Mage Type: Necromancer
Necromancer Curse Effects:

  • Creepy Aura perceived by some good beings
  • black eyes and veins that spiral out, doesn't go away until he chills out, tears are black if he cries in this state. Will eventually linger longer each time until permanent
  • black blood if bleeding in curse state, eventually black blood permanently
  • Most animals hate him other than his dog
  • After using powers, if eyes are black, plants and bugs die around him and wither, until his eyes are normal
  • If very stressed and had to use powers, may get feral afterward, depending on how traumatizing or frightening incident was. Can funnel that into protective instinct and bite at other threats, but needs to be talked down.
  • Later: holy objects and places will start to hurt him, get progressively worse
  • Later: Will start to get more generally aggressive
  • Later: Violent nightmares, esp where he fucks up Earth as a Luthor
  • Latest stages: craving to drink blood, but doesn't need it to survive
  • Latest stages: blood sacrifice for level 3 spells, can use his own, sometimes faints if using too much

SPELLS
Soul Trap: Level 1. Each time Kon casts the spell, he's able to grab onto the soul of one individual and give it a good yank. At its first level, he won't be able to hold on hard enough to actually pull a soul completely out, only pull it away briefly and have it snap back into place in the target. This rubber band effect stuns the person he attacked and leaves them with a sort of existential dread that takes time to fade. (It doesn't feel good to have someone getting all grabby hands with your soul, even if it snaps back into place.) He can also use this power to pull a soul away from something else trying to steal it from someone (like a Nightrender) to give it back. He can only do it with one soul at a time.

Bloodbending: Level 1. Kon has the ability to manipulate blood. One manifestation of this ripping the blood out of someone, causing blood vessels to tear open. At level 1 this only causes minor wounds or bruising. He can also use it to draw blood out of a wound that already exists, allowing him to potentially draw some out of one person and pour it into someone else through their own wound, allowing him to perform a transfusion. This is still sensitive to issues of sterility in the wounds, blood diseases, matching blood types, etc

Another way this power can be used is to control someone by manipulating the blood in their body to move them. He can use this to have them awkwardly swing a weapon or run into someone else, but can't have them move with any fine motor control and can't use this to throw them, only make them stagger. He can only draw blood from/control the blood of one person at a time.

Hemomatic weapon: Level 1. This spell can turn blood into weapons or small pointy tools. Starting off, he can only form primitive claws over his hands, a small dagger, or small pointy tools like lockpicks/skeleton keys. If he makes it into a weapon, these weapons can cause damage to non-corporeal entities (like the Nazgul), though they cannot kill them. If he uses his own Necromancer blood, he can also potentially cause infected wounds in organic enemies or extra damage to "holy" or ethereal good enemies. (Like Tolkien Elves).
